The Most Famous Celebrity Hairstyles and Fashions

Famous Celebrities
by bbaltimore

There are many famous celebrity hairstyles. Almost any person who has been popular at one time or another has had people copy their hair. However, some hairstyles change the way an entire generation styles their hair. These celebrities achieve iconic status with their famous hair. For some celebrities, perhaps they would not have been as famous with differently styled hair. All of these styles are different but each one was extremely popular in its own time. Many of these looks are still worn today. Some have evolved into a modified style, but others remain almost identical to the original style.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn was one of the original iconic hairstyles. Her celebrity hairstyles were always elegant and refined. During a time when most ladies wore shaped hairstyles, she allowed her hair to appear natural and soft. Her hairstyle helped to shape her identity as a refined and elegant woman.

Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor first became famous in the 1950s. She remained popular for well over twenty years, and over that time had many different styles of hair. One of the things that stood out the most about Elizabeth Taylor’s hair was the fact that during a period when almost every actress dyed their hair blonde, she left hers a more natural color.

Twiggy

Twiggy was iconic for many reasons. Some people cite her as being the original rail-thin model. Whether or not this was the case, she was very popular. Twiggy was one of the first celebrities to bring the short, pixie style hair to mainstream society. These celebrity hairstyles were usually quite short. Sometimes the men had longer hair than ladies wearing this style of hair did.

Diana Ross

Diana Ross was a role model for many women. She allowed her heritage to show through all of her work. This hairstyle was famous because rather than trying to tame her natural hair she allowed it to grown uninhibited. Since then many women have tried to copy her untamed look.

Princess Diana

One of the most famous fashion icons of the 1980s was Princess Diana. She influenced fashions all over the world. Her hairstyle was actually conservative for that time. The short, no-effort hairstyle that she chose was very attractive to the busy woman. Other celebrity hairstyles were hard to manage, but her style was easy to copy and maintain.

The Beatles

Famous women are not the only ones who have influenced hairstyles. One of the most iconic celebrity hairstyles were worn by the Beatles. They all cut their hair in the exact same way, which other men soon copied for their own style. Michael Jackson was also a large influence on how men cut their hair.

People I know what it is! The Emotional/Physicals learn through Inference(emotion) Act out Directly(physically) In crowds expressing inference is hard fill your self with Emotional stimuli if not you are trying to make up for it in the Physical world by acting out Physically. you need Intellectual stimuli you need to feeel emotional stimuli.
Physical/Emotionals need Physical stimuli to keep them from becoming to emotional.
    That is a fact People!

because manic episodes are extremly high levels of productivity, i went from being sedentary to running five miles a day and cycling 35 in 100 degree weahter, as far as drugs are concerned people tend to self medicate becuase it helps them deal with the disorder.

WHAT THE FUC*! You didn’t add Robert Calvert??!! I give this video a thumbs DOWN! 1 star!! This video is terrible if you can’t even add who is perhaps the smartest man, Robert Calvert (r.i.p.) who had bipolar disorder!! Shame on the creator of this video!!

@wimblewomble21 i know, right? I suffer from it and I hate it. you explained it really well.

@Phillies416 Yer right. This vid is bullshit. No way were all these folks manic depressive (I prefer this old fashioned term to ‘BP’)

This is a Mental disorder that can be handled, medication is one of the cornerstones. I beg from the bottom of my Heart to all Bipolars all over the world
Never Never stop the medication. And for some others whom live in countries that can not have the economical support to look for psychiatrical consultation, we must to create a foundation to help them, If does exist one, Let me know.

As someone with the disease, I’m ambivalent (no pun intended) about this video because I think the sappy guitar is a indulgent and it’s not always the best thing for someone on a manic to stare at manic celebrities– I’m sure if they had a People With Diabetes deal that it would include plenty of geniuses, leaders and the like. A list is good if you want to read the names yourself but not an homage. If you’re bipolar and want help, go to see a shrink if you can.

  12. forfetable | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

@wimblewomble21 First off, the only logical way you can judge someone if they are bi polar is by analyzing them as a psychiatrist, other than that is ignorance, you can’t determine who is bi-polar or not like that, it just doesn’t add up, so if you want to make a positive difference I think you should erase the comment regarding “the worst fucking disorder”, because maybe someone “diagnosed” with it will read it and what are the chances of that, lets not mind how much the title is related.

  13. Phillies416 | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

this is such BS, I don’t doubt the existance of the disorder, but c’mon ozzy and kurt cobain? they weren’t bipolar there were just fucking drug users… how do we know half these people even had it? without my meds i’d be dead, so how did abe lincon even become president without meds back then?

  14. wimblewomble21 | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

@forfetable i don’t want my synopsis of this condition to speak for everyone. I understand that it affects people in different ways. But i wanted to try and make the condition more understandable for those who do not suffer with bipolar. To those who are not sufferers, we may be seen as just a bunch of attention seeking idiots & anti-social snobs, so i wanted to try and help educate non bipolar sufferers about what mental patterns may trigger our certain behavioural patterns during bad periods.

@wimblewomble21 thanks a lot, you make me feel better about it knowing that i have to live with it everyday man.

  18. NegruBlasfemie | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

It’s not a disorder, it’s called being able to view the world for what it really is! A wad of hopeless shit with mindless sheeple who float their ways through lives. Masses of idiocy, ignorance across the land, pills to blind and deafen our future. Pills so that we do not know future exists. Pills are an excuse, not an answer. If you want to help bipolar people, love them, embrace them, show compassion. It is the only medicine true to the heart and the only that will help. <3

@fleegunna19 There is hope. No matter what condition your son has, he IS special. I am 29 and just now starting to live a normal life. I kicked the medication, I started taking B-12 and Folic Acid with DHA and it’s been helping me. One good thing about this disorder is that when you’re at the lowest of the low, you can learn to appreciate the simple things that make you smile, like a singing bird… and at the highest of the high, you learn to appreciate serenity.

I counted at least 3 great comedians. I’ve heard John Cleese belongs here too. Sometimes people have to bounce off the back-wall to get to the front.

  24. venushalley | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

@wangac I don’t want a normal life. I want a happy life. Those two aren’t the same… “normal” life is often job you hate and a husband you don’t love anymore:( Sometimes you have to be uncoventional and non-comformist. Accept yourself and your dreams… and try to pursue them. Do not strive for normalcy.

  25. venushalley | Feb 8, 2010 | Reply

… and analyze the situation… like a social scientist:)… “it seems like this…but is it really so?”. I channel my energy.

You know it sucks…wanting to die one day and than wanting to do all crazy and socially unacceptable stuff the other day… but guess what? Nobody is gonna help you with this. Drugs, legal or illegal aren’t the solution. Therapist can push you in the right direction but will not hold your hand 24/7. Know your streght, knowo your limits, live!

This certainly contains information you would never even think could be possible. These folks have skeletons in their closets, with each having more than one closet. The ones with the largest number of closets though is our own government. Interesting read for anyone wondering what the government has been doing behind the scenes with people the public has embraced.

I thought the book would go into more detail on the investigations into some of the listed celebrities, hich is the aspect I was especially interested in. Unfortunately, some of the FBI files were quite small on some of the people included in the book. Other information on the so-called celebrities were actually from sources other than the FBI files. Some of the information culled from the actual files were of interest. John Wayne seemingly giving money for a forced government take-over of some South American country and the question as to whether Rudolf Nureyev may actually been working as a Soviet agent. Apart from a few tidbits here and there most of the information has already been known or discussed elsewhere.

Read most of this book although it didn’t fascinate me one iota. You COULD discern some truth from the alleged copied gov’t file paperwork, but most of what is published is assumed. and you know what that means…
